Latest News!

A most delightful film commences this week, the brand new family film PADDINGTON /G\
If you haven't seen the trailer yet, do yourself a favour and take a look here!
After a fatal earthquake destroys his home in the rainforests of Peru - a young bear (Ben Whishaw) makes his way to London in search of a new home.
The bear - dubbed 'Paddington' finds shelter with the family of Henry (Hugh Bonneville) and Mary Brown (Sally Hawkins).
Although Paddington`s amazement at urban living soon endears him to the Browns - someone else has her eye on him: taxidermist Millicent Clyde (Nicole Kidman) has designs on Paddington`s rare Peruvian hide.

Another great film with some advance screenings over the next couple of weeks before commencing Boxing Day is ST VINCENT (M) starring Melissa McCarthy and Bill Murray.
Maggie (Melissa McCarthy) - a struggling single woman - moves to Brooklyn with her 12-year-old son - Oliver (Jaeden Lieberher).
Having to work very long hours - she has no choice but to leave Oliver in the care of Vincent (Bill Murray) - a bawdy misanthrope next door. Vincent takes Oliver along on his trips to the race track - strip club and dive bar - and an unlikely friendship is born.
The man is a mentor to the boy in his hedonistic way - and Oliver sees the good in Vincent that no one else can)

The first of our family films for the Summer holidays is now showing, the fun new family comedy ALEXANDER & THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY [PG] .
This film MUST finish Dec 24 as we cannot fit it into our schedule after Christmas, so be sure to catch it before it leaves!
Gum stuck in his hair signals the start of a disastrous day for 11-year-old Alexander (Ed Oxenbould). One calamity follows another - but when Alexander tells his family about his misadventures - he finds little sympathy. Alexander begins to wonder if bad things happen only to him - but he soon learns that he`s not alone when his mother (Jennifer Garner) - father (Steve Carell) - brother (Dylan Minnette) and sister (Kerris Dorsey) all find themselves living through their own calamitous days.

A very special film, especially for those of you who may remember such a time is WHEN THE QUEEN CAME TO TOWN /G\ is now showing and highly recommended. FINAL WEEK!
