Finally after much hard work the cinema is complete. Brian prepares the newly installed cinema projection equipment for the first show at the cinema. The showing was for the trades people who helped build the theatre. The screening was a bit of a fiasco with a number of problems. Brian is the manager, a projectionist and also a perfectionist, so all teething troubles were resolved.
And with that, the premiere of the Waverley Cinema draws closer. The Warner Brothers western comedy “Blazing Saddles” was chosen for the event.
After many months of planning and construction the premier showing goes of with out a hitch. Pictured below is the happy crowd who saw Blazing Saddles at the premier.
